Project consisted of a new 180,000 square foot addition onto an existing student service building on the campus at UCSD in La Jolla, Ca.   Included were 2100 Tons of structural steel, and a full miscellaneous metals package, including all stairs systems, canopies, gates, etc… (Contractor – MA Mortenson Construction).  This structure is one of a multitude of projects McMahon Steel has been a part of at UCSD over the years.  Other mentionable projects on the campus include the Telemedicine Research Facility, the Molecular Biology Facility, Biomed Library, Materials and Engineering Facility, the La Jolla Playhouse Theater, Cancer Center, and the Revelle Keeling Housing Facility.
